Kim B's Color Challenge - A freebie for you!

Kim has a gorgeous color swatch again, and I made a mini kit called "Ellie's Hope" for it. Remember Ellie who we made the Earthy Crunchy kit for, and who has Cystic Fibrosis? Yeah - she has SO much hope in the Lord, and this kit has a little rainbow to remind her of her hope, and a little flower - just 'cos she likes 'em :)

Freebie recipe book with "Favorite Recipe"

Erin needed something to make a recipe book, so she made a whole kit called "Favorite Recipe" It's so cute, fresh and bright! I love it :) Look what I did with it!

Earthy Crunchy - a HUGE collab for Cystic Fibrosis awareness

Didja notice my new blog bling? ;) It's Earthy Crunchy...

One of my girlfriends' little girls, Ellie, has Cystic Fibrosis which is a fatal disease, with a life expectancy of approx. 40 years. You can read all about Cystic Fibrosis here.

This is Ellie. With YOUR help, her life could change in the next 5 to 10 years!

CF is so rare that pharmaceutical companies are not investing in research to manage or cure this disease, so the CF Foundation has created a model which is now in place in many charities and known as the CFF model. Basically, they raise their own money to incentivise their own scientists and researchers.

The incredibly exciting news is that they now have a drug in phase 2 trials that will CHANGE this disease from fatal to MANAGED! It has taken CF from something that kills and given the hope that it will become managed, like asthma or diabetes.

Just as exciting is that this is on course to happen in the next 5 to 10 years, giving little Ellie the opportunity to live a long and productive life!

The CFF has a fundraising walk every year called Great Strides and this year it's THIS SATURDAY! We've never done it before and are really looking forward to it - it sounds like a lot of fun! Of course, it's one of the major fundraising events of the year, and the absolutely fabulous designers and CT from Enchanted Studio Scraps have banded together to create a gorgeous kit for you called "Earthy Crunchy" - I am so excited at how it has turned out.

"Make Believe" freebie collab with Scrappyweiss Designs and Mel Hains Designs!

I almost didn't make this one ;) I was feeling completely overwhelmed with my commitments and with the NSD goings on, so I actually told Mel and Erin I wouldn't be able to complete my part on this. Then, a few nights ago I was sitting playing around and designing just because I felt like it, and I decided to take another look at this, and BOOM, my part was done! Mel and Erin are so wonderful to work with - easygoing and flexible - so they took me back without blinking an eye ;)

Jumped into the deep end with a shelf and a card!

First, I made a shelf for my dd. She chose the color and painted it. I used my "It's a Girl Thing" kit to print papers etc and ....

[Just noticed my ric rac isn't straight Will have to fix after the kids are in bed!]

And then when I asked my hubby if he had a card for his mother, the answer was "Uhhh...no." It happened to be 8pm Sat. Ya know - when you're all done for the day and not about to go out again? So I made one for her


It was FUN! Now I have all kinds of ideas about doing stuff around my house. I am headed down a dangerous road...the road with NO return! LOL!

A reminder that the MEGA collab with myself, Erin and Mel will be out tomorrow... and keep an eye out for the "Earthy Crunchy" Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser kit!
